Pennie S. Johnson joined Drew, Cooper & Anding in December, 2016 as an associate attorney continuing to practice in civil and bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Johnson graduated magna cum laude from Grand Valley State University in 2004, earning numerous student honors and awards, including the prestigious Glenn A. Niemeyer Award. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and has practiced law in West Michigan since her admission to the bar in 2007.

Ms. Johnson is an active member of the Grand Rapids community. She served two terms as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Heartside Ministry, Inc., and has been a participating artist in ArtPrize.

Ms. Johnson is admitted to practice in the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. She is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Pennie is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, State of Michigan Bar Association, and is a Former Board of Directors for Heartside Ministry, Inc. (2008 – 2014)
