Drew Cooper & Anding Partner Amanda Narvaes Receives 2026 Grand Rapids Bar Association President’s Award
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Drew Cooper & Anding is proud to announce that Partner Amanda P. Narvaes has been named the 2026 recipient of the Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA) President’s Award.
The President’s Award is given by the GRBA to acknowledge a member whose service stands out in an exceptional way. Ms. Narvaes will be formally honored at the GRBA Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Loft at Luna, located at 64 Ionia Ave SW #100, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. “Amanda exemplifies the spirit of service that makes our legal community stronger,” said Founding Partner and former GRBA President, Stephen R. Drew. “This recognition is a testament to her dedication to the GRBA and the community at large.”
About Amanda P. Narvaes
Amanda P. Narvaes is a Partner at Drew Cooper & Anding, where she has practiced since 2011. She is a civil litigator focusing on complex commercial litigation, lender liability, copyright litigation, and consumer protection. Ms. Narvaes graduated cum laude from Carleton College with a bachelor’s degree in history and earned her law degree magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she also received Cooley’s Distinguished Student Award.
Ms. Narvaes represents clients before state and federal Michigan trial courts, including the Michigan Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan.
A dedicated community volunteer, Ms. Narvaes has given her time to numerous nonprofits in West Michigan, including the Tenant Law Project and the Women’s Resource Center. She currently chairs the committee that organizes the annual Women Lawyers vs. Judges Softball Game, which raises thousands of dollars each year for the YWCA West Central Michigan.
